Telecom/IT Manager's Role with TEM

The Telecom Manager and IT Manager are the individuals responsible for making decisions on connectivity. Up-to-date inventory tracking and associated contracts are usually their main concerns. Without a web-based telecom expense management software, it is difficult to obtain information from a remote location and on the fly. Circuit ID's, ANI's and contacts need to be within arms reach to be able to be efficient if at any case a company is facing a circuit failure. Most of the vital information needed to place a trouble ticket is unknown by these managers and are usually a challenge in locating. In addition, expired contracts for circuits can mean significant revenue loss when a term comes to an end and the contract is not recasted.

With the ENTERPRISE-View telecom expense management software (TEM), each inventory item can be attached to a contract using the Contract Manager. When a contract end date comes within a specified time (30, 60, 90 days), an Email Alert will be sent out to the Telecom Manager or IT manager for review. The Telecom Manager or IT Manager can place requests within the TEM using Request Manager for easy order tracking. The TEM can also store all the contacts using the Contact Manager for efficient inventory managing when it comes to repair or trouble reporting. Since WCS has over 80+ carriers, users can send a quote or order request thru the Request Manager link within the TEM for easy tracking and accountability.
