History
Wholesale Carrier Services, Inc. (WCS) was established in 1994 to serve the needs of medium-large enterprise, commercial telecommunications users and resellers of telecom network services. After eight years of steady growth and profitability, WCS today is a thriving, carrier with headquarters in Coral Gables, FL and sales and data centers in Florida, New York, and London. The company is a tariffed, FCC - licensed inter-exchange long distance carrier and operator services provider throughout the entire United States and a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) in 7 states. WCS manages over 200,000 access lines with client nodes in 17 countries.
As a result of the constantly advancing technologies and turmoil in the communications marketplace, the company found itself uniquely positioned to cater to customers seeking assistance in the selection of technology vendors and network design. By focusing on the upper end of the telecommunications market, WCS has been able to secure long term consulting and network contracts with its customers, bringing stability and strong corresponding growth.
Due to our focus on a select few dozen clients, WCS is also able to provide exemplary customer service combined with thorough industry knowledge on a wide variety of services. The complexity of our clients' purchasing needs allows the company to create and market unique products on facilities strategically owned and operated by us (as opposed to simply “brokering” other vendors' services).
